,As we head into the summer break I'd like to share some important end-of-term information, give you a round-up from the past term and most importantly thank you for continuing your commitment to online lessons.
Congratulations to my exam pupils who have adapted to the new pre-recorded exams and have been busy or are still busy making videos to upload to Trinity. This has been very popular and you will need to wait for results, but it has provided an excellent goal for those who were in the middle of their exam preparation. There is now a wide variety of exam options moving forward as exams boards adapt to the changing situation, including a new exam board which is proving popular with many teachers I know - MTB Exams
If you're in need of a few ideas to keep piano going over the summer you can download one of my activity sheets Summer Piano Sheet or there are plenty of ideas on my Summer Practice page. I will be teaching on a few days during August, so please email me for details.
The final word is about dates for the term ahead. Lessons will begin again on September 7th and will run for six weeks until October 18th. I do hope you all enjoy the summer break ahead and I look forward to seeing you all in September!
