The Christmas garland is beginning to grow! I've put together a list of music here to get you into the spirit, but don't worry if you're not after specific Christmas music. There's plenty of seasonal music to enjoy too! Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page to listen to all of the recordings.....
I have several books of traditional Christmas Carols, but don't forget it wouldn't be Christmas without the John Lewis adverts! The music for all of these are available - just ask.
There are some lovely arrangements of Christmas Carols in plenty of different styles and levels. You can take a look through my books or find free sheet music to print at making music fun. Don't forget my Christmas arrangements are available for Grades 4 and above!
For those pupils who are after some Seasonal music without a specific Christmas theme, I've recorded a few pieces you can listen to from beginners to intermediate. Please ask me for the sheet music if you would like to play any of these.
Remember there are plenty of sheets in my music rack - new this week are arrangements of Christmas songs and hits from over the years. Here are just a few!

I'll be dusting down my collection of Christmas music this week and searching for inspiration for new music too! It's definitely not too early to start, especially not if you want to have a collection of lovely sounding pieces to share with family and friends. To encourage everyone, Christmas music at all levels will appear in my music rack and there will be a stack of books to rifle through. We're also going to be creating a Christmas Music garland that will grow as Christmas draws nearer. As a piece is completed a tag will be filled in, decorated and pegged onto the ribbon with my Advent pegs. I'm hoping every pupil's name will appear! This should also help pupils to push on with the 30 piece challenge. We're on 91 pieces so far so we'll easily reach my target of 100 before Christmas!
If you're after inspiration for new music these sites have some great music on for all levels: Elena Cobb Supersonics Piano Piano Pronto |
