Imaginative Music
During the first part of the Autumn term we have have been learning music by June Armstrong which, as she explains, is designed "to engage the imagination". We've taken this idea as the aim to produce our own imaginative and descriptive music and here is a selection!
Ben's piece describes a bicycle kick goal, with the ball flying through the air, landing in the goal followed by the excited celebrations of the players and crowd.

Katie's piece describes a lion creeping, pouncing and then sleeping in the hot sun.

Jessica's piece describes how her soft toy, Tigey is calm, likes creeping, crawling and pouncing.
Rebecca's piece describes snow falling slowly during the night, and into the morning when it is brighter. The snow falls faster and then settles into a quiet, peaceful scene. Children wake up, run down the stairs and open the doors to play. Everything settles and goes quiet at the end as the children go back inside.

Jeffrey's piece describes a comet racing through space.
